dated March 15, 1957: Britain's smallest car

Britain's smallest car, a two-stroke engine family saloon, has just been announced in London. Selling for less than Rs. 3,800, it is claimed to have a cruising speed of 50 miles an hour and a petrol consumption of 75 miles to the gallon. "The Frisky," as it is called, has been designed by a British motor engineer, Captain Raymond Flower. The glass fibre body, styled by an Italian designer, will hold two adults and three children.
