Officers transferred

BANGALORE: The Government on Tuesday transferred two IAS officers to the new posts of joint commissioners in the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike. They will be heading the new zones in the Greater Bangalore area.

According to a release, R. Narayanaswamy, Director, Karnataka Government Insurance Department, and T.A. Parthasarathy Registrar, Evaluation, Bangalore University, have been posted to the Mahanagara Palike.

In the same order, the Government has transferred three senior KAS (Karnataka Administrative Service) officers to the new posts of joint commissioners in the Mahanagara Palike. They would be heading the new zones.
