Govt. to import wheat

NEW DELHI: The Central Government has asked Food Corporation of India and State Trading Corporation to import 50 lakh tonnes of wheat by April-end. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, through a notification issued on Tuesday, allowed import of 30 lakh tonnes of wheat by STC and 20 lakh tonnes by FCI at zero duty.
