dated March 16, 1957: Kumaraswami Raja dead

We record with deep regret the death of Mr. P.S. Kumaraswami Raja, former Governor of Orissa and former Chief Minister of Madras, at the Madras General Hospital in the early hours of March 16. Mr. Kumaraswami Raja, who had arrived in Madras city from Vijayawada on March 14, had a sudden heart attack on March 15 at the Guest House, Chepauk, where he was staying. He was rushed to the hospital and he passed away at 1.25 a.m.
