Kumar shines for Kanchana Memorial CC

Namakkal: A fine knock of 94 by P. Kumar saw Kanchana Memorial Cricket Club (KMCC) post a three-wicket win over Power Star Cricket Club in the TNCA-DCAN `A' division league at the SPB Colony grounds here recently.

The scores: `A' division: Power Star CC 231 in 38.3 overs (Suresh 45, Karthikeyan 40, Panneer four for 35) lost to Kanchana Memorial CC (Pallipalayam) 233 for seven in 33.5 overs (P. Kumar 94); Leela Memorial CC (Namakkal) 218 in 39.2 overs (Suresh 85, Manikandan 55) bt Masters CC (Tiruchengodu) 135 in 29.5 overs.

S. Yuvaraj has been elected President of the Coimbatore District Carrom Association (CDCA) in the annual general body meeting held here recently.
