BANGALORE: Tension prevailed in Girinagar after an irate mob ransacked a petrol station at Seetha Circle in Girinagar police station limits on Thursday. The incident took place around 9 p.m. after the petrol station employees allegedly assaulted a youth. When Girish (22) went to the station, the employees told him that petrol was not available. "When I asked them where could I find petrol nearby, they started talking to me in abusive language. When I asked them to behave properly, about eight of them started beating me," he told The Hindu. Soon other customers intervened and stopped the employees from assaulting Girish.
