Dravid not ready to disclose final eleven

Special Correspondent

Port of Spain: Indian captain Rahul Dravid said he had decided on the team that will take the field on Saturday, but he'd rather Bangladesh spend time discussing all 15 opposition players than 11.

Speaking to reporters here at the Queen's Park Oval after a practice session spanning two and a half hours, Dravid said his side was eager to get going.

"We think we have the flexibility, but it's all well to say we have the options and composition — it's now about us performing."

Dravid said Bangladesh had improved.

"We haven't played them for a long time, so in that sense we don't really know the side too well. They are a young side, a lot of their experienced players have retired. So, we've been watching a lot of video footage.

"Bangladesh has been pulling away from the pack; there are the top eight teams, and Bangladesh has sort of moved towards this pack of teams than Zimbabwe and the minnows."

Dravid spoke of how the match being a one-off evened the scales.

"We'd back ourselves in a five-game series, if you have one day, you still know you can come back. But, in the World Cup, you've got to win on the day and move on."
