BANGALORE: In all the excitement over the State Budget, let us not forget that Ugadi is round the corner. Already shops are making preparations for the festival on Monday.

Gesture

While many will be celebrating the festival in the usual ways, some are trying out unique gestures. In keeping with the flavour of the season, the H.A.L. Kendriya Kannada Sangha will distribute bevu bella, the enduring symbol of Ugadi, to all 14,000 employees of the public sector giant, on Saturday.
