Results of B.Com examination

Principals of colleges teaching B.Com. course have been asked to collect the result sheets of B.Com 5th semester examinations held in November.

The results were announced on Thursday.

According to Bangalore University press release, the last date for submitting revaluation applications is March 30.

HOPCOMS open on Sunday

To help people make purchases for Ugadi, the HOPCOMS will keep all its stalls open on Sunday. People can also buy vegetables and fruits at HOPCOMS godowns and its preservation centres on Sunday and Monday, according to an official release.

Ban on meat sale on Ramanavami

The Karnataka Meat and Poultry Marketing Corporation has banned killing of animals and sale of meat on Ramanavami and Mahaveer Jayanti.

According to a press release, the ban will be from March 27 and will stay till 5 a.m. of March 28.

Similarly, ban will be enforced from March 31 till 5 a.m. of April 1.

Training

The Social Welfare Department has invited applications from meritorious degree students belonging to Scheduled Castes to get trained for the IAS and IPS entrance examination.

The selected candidates will be sent to Delhi where they will be trained by three private coaching firms. Applications have to be submitted within April 13. Details can be had from the Principal, Pre-examination training centre, Dr. Ambedkar Veedhi, Miller's Road.
