Visit deferred

The visit of the head of the Dawoodi Bohra community Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb, who was scheduled to arrive in the city on Sunday, has been delayed due to unavoidable circumstances, according to a spokesman of Anjuman-E-Badri. All the invitees would be informed of the new date and time in due course, he added.

Signature campaign

A signature campaign was organised by the Telugu Nadu Student Federation (TNSF) - Andhra Pradesh on Andhra University campus on Saturday to wish good luck to the Indian Cricket team. Teachers, non-teaching staff, students and others signed on the 100-metre banner brought out on the occasion. Vice-Chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy, Registrar Vijay Prakash and TDP Floor leader in GVMC Nalluri Bhaskara Rao also signed.

Spot interviews

Representatives of Oklahoma City University will be in city to conduct spot interviews between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Hotel Daspalla on March 23.
