Bangalore: Any savvy entrepreneur will piggyback on the flavour of the season. And the biggest thing around now is cricket. Inox, the multiplex in Garuda Mall, counting on the fact that movie-goers will be seized by an urge to play cricket before they go in to see their favourite stars, has organised gully cricket on the theatre's premises. Casting aside their popcorn, fans can have a shot at the game (two overs per innings and three players a side). The usual rules have gone for a six to suit the occasion and space. However, there are prizes for the winning team from Inox. The three-day event started on Friday. "It's fun. Its a good way to promote the World Cup and get the feel of the World Cup," said Sandeep, whose team emerged winners. All those who participate also get to cheer India.
