Isolated rain in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Thuckalay (Kanyakumari dt.), Varkala (Thiruvananthapuram dt.) and Kottayam recorded one centimetre of rainfall each.

On Saturday, the maximum temperature rose appreciably at one or two places over Telangana, rose at one or two places over rest Telangana, fell at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, above normal at many places over rest Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over rest coastal Karnataka, south interior Karnataka, Telangana and were generally normal over rest of the region.

Weather (Valid until Tuesday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and south Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over north Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, north Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
