Range of eco-friendly car batteries from TGY

CHENNAI: Tata AutoComp GY Batteries Pvt.Ltd. (TGY), a 50:50 joint venture between Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd. (TACO) and GS Yuasa International, Japan, on Monday announced the launch of Tata Green, a range of environment-friendly car batteries. TGY's Pune facility will produce Tata Green batteries, initially for passenger cars and utility vehicles. Later, the company will launch batteries for commercial vehicles, farm vehicles and two-wheelers, says a release.
