KADAPA: Public representatives and officials should pledge to work in tandem to improve the living conditions of poor sections, said district Collector M.T. Krishna Babu on the occasion of `Ugadi' on Tuesday. Almanac predictions indicated good rainfall this year, which would give a fillip to development of agriculture, he said at Ugadi celebrations organised by District Cultural Affairs Council at Kalakshetram. Several developmental and welfare programmes were being implemented for the last three years with particular emphasis on development of woman and labourers, he stated.
