Orissa dubs Centre's aid `paltry'

Bhubaneswar: The Orissa Government on Tuesday described as "discriminatory" the Centre's sanctioning of a ``paltry sum'' to the State from the National Calamity Contingency Fund (NCCF) for flood relief. The State had sought Rs. 2382.43 crore as aid but the Centre sanctioned only Rs. 25 crore, official sources said. — PTI
