Cattle convention from April 21

MYSORE: The Ramachandrapura Math will organise a "World Cattle Convention" at Hosnagar from April 21 to 29. Experts, veterinarians, farmers, agriculturists and seers will participate in the convention, according to a release from the Mysore Seema Parishat. A committee comprising Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji of Ramachandrapura Math, Sri Datta Sharananandji Maharaj, D. Veerendra Heggade and K.N. Govindacharya has been formed for the convention.

"Akshata Abhiyana" ritual to invite people to the convention has already commenced in various parts of the country, the release added.

Over 25 lakh cattle lovers are expected to take part in the event, according to former MLA A. Ramadas
