RAICHUR: Houses in Gomarsi, E.J. Udbal and Madsirwar villages were burgled when the residents were asleep outside their houses in Sindhanur taluk on Monday night. Gold ornaments, valuables and cash were stolen. The total loss was put at Rs. 27,000. Police said three unknown persons entered the house of Moulasab in Gomarsi village and took away gold ornaments and cash. Similarly persons entered the house of Parvathamma in E.J. Udbal village. They took away valuables worth Rs. 15,000. In another case, persons entered the house of Shekarappa and took away gold ornaments and valuables worth Rs. 4,000. Three separate cases have been registered with the Sindhanur Rural Police Station.
