NELLORE: As many as 38, 586 students will take SSC examination at 174 test centres across the district from March 21 to April 7. The district administration has posted 2, 088 invigilators for the examination duty in a ratio of one invigilator for every 20 students. And question papers have already been kept in a safe custody at 50 police stations across the district. Moreover, buffer stock of the question papers is being maintained at the district head quarters in case of any emergency. And stationary squads will be posted at 14 sensitive examination centres, according to Collector M. Ravi Chandra. The Collector has warned that the students will be debarred if any of them will be found with mobile phones or resort to malpractice. Prohibitory orders under Section 144 Cr.PC. have been promulgated at the test centres in the district besides all photostat machines will be closed during the examination. Hall tickets had already been issued and those who had not received them could download e-hall tickets on websites: www.exams.aponline.gov.in, www.manabadi.com or www.manabadi.com, he said. Meanwhile, a help line has been established to receive complaints on phone: 0861-2327852, 6596314 and 98499-09109. The Andhra Pradesh Transco authorities have been told to supply uninterrupted power to all examination centres from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
