GUNTUR : The counting of votes in MLC elections will be a laborious process with counting of votes for Krishna-Guntur Graduates' and Teachers' constituencies beginning on March 25. District revenue officer B. Lakshmikantham said the votes of Krishna and Guntur district Graduates' Constituency would be counted in Guntur. The bundling process itself could go on till midnight if the Election Commission allowed only 10 tables, while district administration has proposed 20 counting tables in two halls for which permission is awaited. For the Teachers' Constituency there would be 10 tables and since only little over than 10,000 votes are to be counted, the result was likely to emerge on March 25 evening or night, while the result for the Graduates' Constituency could come out only on March 26. If no candidate got at least one vote more than 50 per cent votes cast the elimination process would begin for second preference vote.
