NEW DELHI:
The Congress on Tuesday said the issue of resignation of West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee over the Nandigram issue was ``between himself and his morality.''
Party spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi said the Congress has condemned the violence in the area, particularly the manner in which women and children were attacked brutally by police.
``It is a question of morality. Which office-bearer should do what? It is a moral decision for those concerned and persons involved'', he said
His response came to questions on whether the Congress committee that visited the area on Sunday had submitted its report.
