Maoist bandh peaceful

BHUBANESWAR : The bandh call given by Communist Party of India (Maoist) in protest of police firing at West Bengal's Nandigram passed off peacefully across Orissa on Tuesday. Reports from districts said there was no disruption in movement of trains, passenger buses and other vehicles. Even police did not find any blockades erected by the extremists in Koraput, Rayagada, Malakanagiri and Gajapati districts.
