NALGONDA: The Chityal police on Tuesday arrested four persons on the charge of breaking and looting houses at various towns in the district. They recovered 29 tolas of gold and 50 tolas of silver from their possession. Chityal Sub-Inspector G. Venkateswar Reddy said that four persons -- Barla Raju (28), Kedari Venkanna (23), Kedari Durgaiah (20) and Medi Narasimha (19) -- were involved in eight house breaking cases at Nalgonda, Nakrekal, Narketpally, Chowtuppal and Chityal. Gang leader Raju, a native of Hyderabad, has been camping at Chityal for the last seven months to carry on the midnight operations, the SI revealed. They spot the locked houses and loot during nights, the SI said.
