Reconnection mela today

A reconnection and new phone connection mela will be organised at Telephone Exchange, Kamakotinagar, on Wednesday at 9 a.m. Customers of BSNL in Bhavanipuram, Vidyadharapuram and Gollapudi areas can avail themselves of this opportunity. An India Telephone Card worth Rs. 100 will be given as gift to those who register for landline connection at the mela.

Last date for plot registration

The plot owners at Urmilanagar, Subbaraonagar, Santinagar, Patelnagar, LBS Nagar, Sundaraiahnagar, Prakashnagar, Radhanagar, Rajeevnagar and Kundavari Kandrika formed under rehabilitation should get their plots registered before September 31 this year. The Government had issued an order facilitating this and the plot owners should use this opportunity.

Cultural fete organised

Cultural fete was organised at Lotus Food City as part of Ugadi festival celebrations on Monday. Bharatanatyam, swordplay and `Karrasamu' were performed on the occasion. A culinary show was held when the tastes of Telugu traditional dishes were given to participants. Executive director IGK Raju said that such cultural shows would be continued in future.
