Vignan students excel

GUNTUR: Students of Vignan's Engineering College, Vadlamudi, bagged prizes at various technical competitions held at the Indian Institute of Technology and National Institute of Technology recently. Third year students K. Naresh Kumar and M.V. Kiran Kumar bagged second prize in CHEMINSITE-07 held at IIT, Kharagpur, recently. They were runners-up in the Process Design Calculation competition.

Final year students P. Suresh and V. Subba Ramaiah won the second prize for their performance in the technical paper presentation at NIT, Tiruchirapalli. They presented a paper on `Dynamic Simulation of Reactive Distillation with ETBE synthesis'.

Head of Chemical Engineering V. Madhusudhan Rao, Principal Y.V.S.S.S.V. Prasada Rao, Executive Director Paturi Koteswara Rao and chairman L. Rathaiah on Wednesday congratulated the students.
