Narasimha to lead AP

HYDERABAD: B. Narasimha Swamy will lead Andhra Pradesh in the 19th National cricket championship of the Deaf at Dharmaprakash Hall in Chennai from March 22 to 24.

The team: Men: B. Narasimha Swamy, K. Venkatramana and A. Jagadeesh.

Boys: Junior: R. Satish, Y. Suresh and P. Jamendra Kumar.

Boys: Sub-junior: Eswaraiah, Mahanthesh and K. Prabhakar.

Women: M. Swaroopa, N. Dharani Kumari, E. Bujji.

Manager: S. Siraj Bash.

Tennis tournament

Markers & Pickers tennis tournament for boys of all clubs and coaching camps in the twin cities will be organised by FMC tennis players at Fateh Maidan tennis complex here from March 22 to 23. Justice Ramakrishna, Tribunal Chairman, will inaugurate while Hyderabad District Collector Chandravadan will give away the prizes the next day.

Vijay elected president

B. Vijay Bhaskara Reddy was elected president of the Hyderabad District Handball Association at its general body meeting at Olympic Bhavan here.
