Enlightening workshop

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, conducted a two-day workshop on `Embedded controller for switched reluctance motor' recently. Jessi Sahaya Shanthi of Thiyagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, and B. Hariram of Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, gave lectures. S. Annadurai, Principal, GCE, Tirunelveli, spoke.

National Service Scheme Units 27, 28 and 29 of St. John's College, Palayamkottai conducted a 10-day special camp at Sengulam near Palayamkottai recently. Poongothai Seehanpalk conducted a free medical camp. J. Robert Dawson's team examined the cattle.The Principal, St. John's College, R.K. Jacob addressed the valedictory function.

The National Service Scheme and Youth Welfare Department of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, in association with Lions Club of Kadayanallur and Courtallam organised a special free medical camp at Mano College, Cheranmahadevi, recently. It was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Cynthia Pandian. .

A team from National Assessment and Accreditation Council will visit Govindammal Aditanar College for Women, Tiruchendur, on March 22 and 23 to assess academic activities and services.
