HUBLI: Some parts of the city received sudden showers accompanied by hailstones on Wednesday evening. The rain, which lasted for more than 10 minutes, caught people unawares. Many people came out of their houses to collect the hailstones. However they returned seeing the sheer size of hailstones.
The showers brought down the temperature in the city. The unexpected rain is
Haveri and Gadag towns also experienced sudden rain on Wednesday evening.
