Mystery woman strikes again; four kids kidnapped in six weeks

HYDERABAD:
The mystery woman kidnapper struck again in the city when she took away a six-month-old boy from the Sanathngar area even as embarrassed police officials stepped up efforts to catch her.
The latest abduction of Kartik, son of Padma and Ravi, who migrated to the city in search of livelihood three months ago, threw a fresh challenge to the police of Hyderabad and Cyberabad Commissionerates. Kartik is the fourth child to be kidnapped in the past six weeks.
The child's mother and people who watched the woman walking away with the child confirmed that she looked like the woman whose portrait was drawn by the police earlier.
Fate of the other three abducted children is not yet known.
The suspect abducted a boy first from Jubilee Hills on February 6. Later, she repeated the offence twice--in Madhapur on February 18 and in Banjara Hills on February 27.
