Three killed in road accident

NIZAMABAD: Three persons, including a woman, of a family were killed and another person injured in a road accident that occurred near Ankapur village on Nizamabad-Armoor road after midnight last.

The accident occurred when an autorikshaw-trolley, in which the victims were travelling from Bodhan to Kammarpally, was hit by a truck bound for Nizamabad killing Shaik Mohammad (50), Shaik Pasha (40) and Anjum (20) on the spot. An eight-year old Farjana sustained minor injuries and the remaining nine passengers escaped unscathed.

Mohammad and Pasha were brothers and Anjum was the daughter of Pasha. They had gone to Bodhan to see alliance for Anjum. The bodies were shifted to Armoor for post-mortem examination.
