Three held on charge of stealing car

MANGALORE: Personnel of Mangalore South Police station headed by Police Inspector H.N. Venkatesh Prasanna have arrested three persons on the charge of stealing a car at Old Port here.

According to a press release from B. Dayananda, Senior Superintendent of Police, the accused are Nasir Basheer Sheik, a resident of Malad in Mumbai; Vikram Hari Singh, a residents of Virar, Mumbai; and Mohammed Wasim of Ramanagar in Shimoga district.

The police have seized the car worth about Rs. 6.5 lakh and registered a case, the release said.
