Three held under Goondas Act

CHENNAI : Three persons were detained under the Goondas Act after they allegedly indulged in immoral trafficking.

According to a release, the police arrested K. Bharathi Kannan (30) of Cuddalore, Saravanan (29) of Dindigul district and Saravanakumar alias Saravanan (24) of Jaffarkhanpet here recently.

Commissioner of Police Letika Saran had ordered the detention of the trio under the Goondas Act.

They were accomplices of Kannada Prasad, who was recently arrested by the Chennai police and detained in prison in connection with immoral trafficking, the release added.
