National seminar on globalisation

Meet to focus on emerging trends

HYDERABAD : Vivek Vardhini Education Society's School of Business Management is organising a two-day national seminar on `Globalisation- Unleashing India's Potential' on March 23 and 24.

Centenary fete

The seminar, being organised as part of the education society's centenary celebrations, would discuss emerging trends in globalisation like changing face of financial services and opportunities, emerging trends in retailing, human resources challenge and role of technology in a globalised era.

The seminar would also cover globalisation impact on India, its outsourcing industry and implications of globalisation on rural India.

The seminar would be inaugurated on Friday evening by K.C. Reddy, Chairman, Andhra Pradesh of State Council for Higher Education.

Technical sessions

The technical sessions would be held from 9 a.m. on Saturday, according to Vivek Vardhini Education Society vice-president K. Shrinivas Rao.
