YMCA organises rally of children

Nearly 1,000 schoolchildren are expected to take part in the rally being conducted by the Young Men's Christian Association on the occasion of World Water Day.

It will be flagged off in front of the Vidhana Soudha at 9 a.m. and will end at the YMCA centre on Nrupathunga Road.

Blood donation

Book release

Asking We Talk — The South as New Political Imaginary, published by Streelekha, will be released on March 24 at 4 p.m.

The book is an anthology of essays and its contributors include Majid Rahnema, Noam Chomsky, Fatima Meer, Gustavo Esteva, and Ashis Nandy.
