KOCHI: The All India Youth Federation will celebrate the golden jubilee of the first Communist Government led by E.M.S. Namboodiripad in various parts of the State.

The State-level inauguration of the programme will be held at Ernakulam Government Maharajas College auditorium on March 24.

V.R. Krishna Iyer, who was a Minister in the first Communist Government, and MLAs in the first Legislative Assembly including Veliyam Bhargavan, Rosamma Punnoose, E. Chandrasekharan Nair, Kalyana Krishnan Nair, and P. Govinda Pillai will attend the programme, P.S. Supal, State secretary of the federation, said on Wednesday. The national meet of the federation will be held at Haryana from March 28 to 31.
