Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Burglars struck at a retired District and Session Judge's house in Magadi Road police station limits in the early hours of Thursday and made away with Rs. 25,000 in cash and gold.

The police said the incident took place at the house of H. Nagappa house in 5th Block, Rajajinagar, off West of Chord Road.

Around 5 a.m. when Mr. Nagappa was asleep in his room, his daughter Pushpa locked the main door and went out for a walk.

When Pushpa, a teacher in a private school, returned home an hour later, she found that the thieves had entered in through the rear door and made away with cash and valuables from a wardrobe.

The Magadi Road police have registered a case.
