CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Kerala, coastal and south interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over north interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep.

Kadapa recorded the highest maximum temperature of 41 degree Celsius in the region.

Salem recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 19 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

Forecast (Valid until Saturday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Telangana, interior Karnataka and Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Lakshadweep, coastal Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalseema.

Outlook for Subsequent Two Days: Sunny weather.
