Semiconductor policy notified

NEW DELHI: A month after getting clearance from the Cabinet, the Government has notified the ambitious semiconductor policy that gives major subsidy to firms for setting up chip-making plants and other high-end manufacturing units in India. The Government hopes that the new policy would attract global players to set up their units in India.
