Rivaaz wins main event

MUMBAI: Rivaaz, ridden by D.K. Ashish, won the Nawabzada Rashiduzzafar Khan Trophy, the main event of the races held here on Thursday (March 22). The winner is owned by M/s. Geoffrey B.Nagpal & Ashley B.Nagpal. Sanjay Kolse trains the winner.

Two objections were raised by jockey A.R.Mani (Raiba) one against Dashrath rider of Meditas Pride and another against V.Jodha (Open Season ), both for causing him interference in the last 200m. The Stewards also decided to hold an inquiry into the running and riding of this race. After long deliberations, the Stewards decided to revise the order as above).
