NEW DELHI: Offering television viewers an insightful look into the world of cinema is a monthly film show titled "The Screening Room" that premieres on CNN International on March 30. The half-hour show features an interesting mix of revealing insights, intelligent interviews and on-location reporting from film festivals. Each month the show will offer film news, reviews, global charts, besides clippings from riveting blockbusters and thought-provoking documentaries. Travelling around the globe to show all aspects of the movie business, the show will be hosted by British television presenter Myleene Klass. Besides exploring the art of the world's most talented actors, directors, composers and screenwriters, the show will travel to important film festivals held in various cities including London, Tokyo and Sydney. It will also cover in-depth features ranging from animation and short films to issues about the perils of piracy. Speaking about the upcoming show, CNN International senior vice-president Rena Golden said every month the show will travel to Hollywood and beyond so as to bring the most compelling and dynamic aspects of the film world to CNN's vast international audience. "With our global reach, CNN is ideally placed to travel the globe and cover stories from the movie business in every continent," she adds. Stating that she was overwhelmed to be part of CNN's movie show, Myleene Klass says: "One thing is for sure, if I wasn't part of `The Screening Room', I'd be glued to my seat watching it!"
