KOLLAM: The Congress leader V.M. Sudheeran has said that the best option before Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan is to resign. Inaugurating a district-level Congress march to the Collectorate here on Thursday in protest against alleged anti-people policies of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) Government, he said a Chief Minister who could not keep his promises to the people had to resign. Hundreds of Congress activists took part in the march. Mr. Sudheeran said that during the elections, Mr. Achuthanandan had given much expectation to the people. But he belied these expectations. Within 10 months, the LDF Government could be labelled the most anti-people. Mr. Achuthanandan is in confusion and in crisis.
