Udhagamandalam: A Swiss Television team which has been documenting various aspects of the Indian Railways since March 6, will be arriving here on Friday by the Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR) from Mettupalayam. Save Nilgiris Campaign Coordinator D.Venugopal said the team's visit has special significance. The NMR was started by Swiss Engineers, particularly Niklaus Riggenbach, who invented the Riggenbach Rack System and the counter-pressure brake. This year marks the 190th birth anniversary of Riggenbach.
