Totally false report, says Jethmalani

Ram Jethmalani, Rajya Sabha member, writes:

This has reference to your news item on the front page of The Hindu (March 22) that the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir had a conversation with me during my last visit to Jammu in the course of which he made a libellous statement against his ex-Chief Minister, Mufti Mohd. Sayeed.

This news report is totally false. The only other person, who was present during my very brief meeting with the Governor, was advocate Ashok Bhan. I don't believe that he is the source of this information. If he is, it is doubly unfortunate. Before publishing this, you should have at least verified [it] with me.
