KOTTAYAM: The `Palathulli' award for water and environment-friendly educational institutions, instituted by the Malayala Manorama daily, has been bagged by MAM LP School, Panavalli, Alappuzha, and Mar Athanasious College, Kothamangalam, in the respective categories. The individual award instituted for teachers who had taken effective lead in creating awareness of water management goes to B.K. Sen, a physically challenged teacher at Government Lower Primary School, Venjaramoodu, in Thiruvananthapuram district.
