KOZHIKODE: Nakshatra, an all-India meeting of MCA students, hosted by the department of computer engineering of the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C), is being held from Friday to Sunday on the NIT-C campus. The event will feature a host of seminars and talks. Anand Parthasarathy, Consulting Editor (Information Technology), The Hindu, will deliver the keynote address. There will be a talk by Yashwant Prabhat Kanetkar, author of many IT books. There will be programmes on component design, programming design, Linux Wizard, trouble shooting, debugging, web designing and flash animation. This was announced here on Thursday by M.P. Sebastina, head of Department of Computer Engineering, K.A. Abdul Nazeer, faculty co-ordinator, Nakshatra, and D.V.R. Chandrasekhar, programme convener.
