Two farmers commit suicide

Sangareddy: Narra Mallesham (25) of Mailaram village of Vargal mandal committed suicide during the early hours of Thursday. The farmer, who is said to have cultivated three acres of land along with his brothers, incurred huge losses and had taken loan of Rs. 2 lakhs. His wife Mangamma told the police that her husband was under severe pressure to repay the loans.

In another incident another farmer S. Penta Reddy of Pamulaparthy village of the same mandal committed suicide by consuming pesticide on Wednesday. The marginal farmer left a suicide note allegedly written in his own blood. Police are investigating the reasons that led to his death.
