NIZAMABAD: A 30-year-old man was stabbed to death at Fruit Market area under One Town police station limits here on Thursday. The victim is survived by his wife and four children. According to Deputy SP, K. Anjaneyulu, the deceased Mohd. Vaseemuddin, (30), a resident of Shantinagar, was involved in sale and purchase of used vehicles. He recently entered into an agreement with a broker Jahangir of Mirchi Compound for buying a truck from a person. However, Vaseemuddin approached the vehicle seller directly ignoring the broker following which an altercation ensued between the two. Meanwhile, Jahangir's brother Abdur Rahman, who came to know about the incident, hatched a plan to eliminate him. Being aware of this, Vaseemuddin tried to broker a compromise and invited him to a party at a dhaba where both of them got drunk. While leaving the place, Rahman picked up a quarrel with Vaseemuddin and stabbed him, following which he died on the spot.
