Dumping of debris banned beside CMDA and behind TNEB

CHENNAI: The Corporation of Chennai has prohibited dumping of debris opposite the CMDA building on Gandhi Irwin Road in Egmore, and on the Link Road along the Cooum from Ethiraj Salai to the rear entrance to the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board headquarters. A release on Thursday said the Corporation has prohibited debris dumping by the public or contractors in these areas with immediate effect.

Action on violators

Action would be initiated against those violating the order, it said.
