Change in suburban train timings

CHENNAI : From March 23, changes have been announced in suburban train services on the Chennai Beach-Tambaram-Chengalpattu section (Monday to Saturday).

The following is the revised timings with existing timings in parentheses: T 47: 9.37 am (9.39 am), T 49: 9.42 am (9.46 am), T 51: 9.48 am (9.53 am), T 53: 9.53 am (10 am), T 55: 9.58 am (10.08 am), T 57: 10.01 am - fast (10.24 am), T 59: 10.08 am (10.32 am), T 61: 10.26 am (10.38 am), T 63: 10.37 am (10.45 am), T 65: 10.48 am (10.53 am), T 129: 6.30 pm (6.31 pm).

Train number T 57 will run as a fast local and stop only at Chennai Fort, Park, Egmore, Mambalam and Guindy. In addition to the existing halts, train no 108 Melmaruvathur-Chennai Beach passenger will stop at Chromepet and St. Thomas Mount. Train no B 58 leaving Tambaram at 9.10 am and train no BC 37 (fast local) leaving Beach at 6.31 pm will have an additional halt at Chromepet. There is no change in the Sunday service, says a railway release.
