New Registrar

Radhakrishna Rao Madhankar has assumed charge as the Registrar (Evaluation) of Bangalore University. He formally took over on Wednesday afternoon, an official university release said.

Sky theatre shows

The sky theatre shows at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bangalore will remain suspended for annual maintenance from March 26. According to a press release, the shows will resume in the first week of April.

Blood donation

Lions Club of Sanjaynagar will hold a voluntary blood donation camp on March 25 between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. at Community Hall, Kendriya Vihar, Yelahanka. Healthy persons aged between 18 and 55 and not weighing more than 45 kg can donate blood at the camp. Call 9448812330.

Reunion

The Old Students Association of Karnataka Medical College, Hubli, has organised an alumni meet on April 1 at 7 p.m. at Brigadier Hall of Bangalore Club to finalise the golden jubilee celebrations of the college. Call 41187600 (extension 671).

Theatre workshop

Expressions, the Theatre Group, will conduct a two-day free theatre workshop for theatre enthusiasts from April 5 between 10 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. The subjects covered under the workshop include eye contact, touch, usage of properties, physical and voice exercises, theatre games, whispering and dual acting. Yoga class

Bangalore Tamil Sangam will start its new batch of yoga classes at its premises on Annaswamy Mudaliar Road in the city from April 11 for the benefit of people suffering from asthma, acidity, allergy, blood pressure, gastroenteritis and related ailments. Call 25510062.
