GCE lifts title

Coimbatore : Host Government College of Education (Coimbatore) drubbed Annammal College of Education 15-3, 15-4 and emerged champion in the State-level women's throwball tournament for colleges of education at the GCE grounds here on Friday.

In the semifinals, the host defeated Bharathi CE 15-1, 15-1 and Annammal got the better of Lakshmi CE (Gandhigram) 15-5, 15-6.
